    That's lovely! I do a thing called "Drawing in our books". These are tiny little spiral, cheap notebooks, with the child's name on.

    The children can lie on the floor with small felt tip pens (this works well for me with two at the same developmental stage); or sit at a small table (again, those similar in age/stage). I like the books as I date their efforts, and then we can see the progression.

    I use mini (A4) size blackboards and chalk for any younger ones (10 months plus) if they want to join it - at a Highchair, or similar, then take photos of their handiwork for the learning journals.
