Treasure baskets

i've just been looking at some amazing treasure baskets on the internet but they're all at least £30 which i just don't have! I want to seperate my treasure basket resources into 'light and colour', 'natural', 'noisy', etc and wondered if anyone's got good ideas what to put in them and where to get stuff cheaply!

i've got lots of natural stuff but am really looking for 'light and colour'. so far i've got 3 coloured scarves, a coloured wooden egg shazer, a mini coloured spring and a woolen coloured ball.

any ideas?!

I find stuff for mine in unexpected places - riffling through Charity shop boxes and on car boot sales.. in the kitchen dept of Matalan... any bits and bobs I spot, the cheaper the better, I buy and pop in...

I don't separate mine out though ... it's just one mish mash of excitement
