    Default Overnight Care

What are the rules on providing overnight care? I always understood it as the child would need their own room. I've had an enquiry to have 2 Los overnight. They would both be in cots. So could I sleep in a bed in the same room as them. Do I need permission from on Ofsted to provide overnight care or would I just RA?

You just need to follow the EYFS 2014, there is no other 'rule book' for over night care. Mindees can share a room with you or with each other- needs to be RA.

It all needs RA and I think there is a RA guide for overnight care on this site, or search Forum as I know I have seen one here once.

You need to inform Ofsted, see EYFS 3.77.

Thank you Moggy. I will look into it. :-)
Wouldn't have a clue how much to charge though!
