giving it up....i got a job...pre school assistant

yeah yeah

so chuffed with myself......i was not sure which way to go ....give up or keep plodding on( see previous thread)
but i heard about a position in a pre school

i applied and OMG I GOT IT had interview & got the job same day
its thankful to my childminding that i got through the interview and having done units 1,3,4,& 5 of my diploma level 3 (starting unit 5 sep) i think that helped

its 1 minute over the road, its 8-2 pm and i am so excited

was a tearful day yesterday...giving notice to my mindees, but i found replacement childminders for them both

i finish on the 22 nd aug and have a week or so off before i start, to clear the house & garden of bits & bobs toys ect, my childminding friends have put their names on most of it,

i start 03 sep

will still keep chatting with you guys.. x x x x x x

I was helping out in the pre-school here when all the children in creche or pre-school and I loved it, talking to adults throughout the day was novel

I think different things appeal to different people at different times of their life. I worked with my mum at her nursery part-time for 5 years and 1 year full-time, and to be honest, wouldn't want to go back to it. I LOVED her nursery school and LOVED working with her, but I so enjoy being home now, and my own boss again
