    Default Funded hours

Hi I'm just starting out but wondered what criteria you have to meet to offer funded hours?

You need to contact your local authority as the criteria vary from place to place.

In most places, you need a grade of 'good' or higher (some accept lower grades, but require you to be on an improvement programme). You will need to agree to their rules about how the hours are provided, submit the required paperwork and be prepared to be audited if the LA wishes.

... and check what hourly rate they pay you- often it is pitifully low leaving you making a loss on every FE child.
