First visit by parent after break....

Had my first visit from parents and baby after having a break. Was so nervous because of the experience with first and only mindee last year! Luckily turns out I actually know the people but I am kicking myself for forgetting to show and tell them about my learning journals :-( may not really be of interest because at the moment it is only temp for 5 weeks but could be permanent. Fingers crossed I did one thing right and ill hear from them soon!

Thanks ive done just that! Also forgot to mention my 2 week holiday in August although the contract should have ended by then! Was probably too prepared and nervous that I forgot some important bits. Might jot them on my palm for future visits! :-)

Even if I write a list, I always forget something at a first visit!

Don't write it on the palm of your hand - just have type up a list that you always get out for parent visits, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that and looks more professional. We can't be expected to remember everything. Good luck. x
