    Default What next???

Not sure which section to put this post so pls feel free to nice if needs be.

So I have have been CM for nearly 8yrs - I have my level 3 childcare- I have done plenty of workshop training and also do basic forest sch and montessori training.

I have just had my 2nd Ofsted inspection that went v well (just waiting for it in writing b4 I share)

So now I'm think what next??? I love my job and feel v comfortable doing what I do... However I am not daft with agencies on the horizon I think I will be daft to put more time n money into this career - ( I will not join an agency and continue independently until Ofsted make this unviable )

I am 32 so think I have a few yrs left in me yet? Hubby has his own carpentry company so I could help out there so poss admin/accountancy ??

But I really love working with EYs???? But I dnot agree with v LOs being in a large group settings so couldn't work at one either.

    Any suggestions much appreciated xT

Do you want to be hands-on with the EY children or just in the EY sector?
How about jobs in training/coaching, local authority EY team roles, EY advisor roles, Family Centre roles/management, retrain for career like child physiology, or a therapy you are interested in.
Are you looking for more income?- an assistant to increase your numbers? Can you find ways to upgrade your service- specialist services, extras?
A new challenge- next stage in education, Level 4/degree?
LA mentor schemes to support new minders (if they exist any more?)
Start a local CM support group, organise local 'stay and play' sessions to support CMers
    ...?
