has anybody ever made bath bombs. Saw it on a website and thinking of making them for mums gifts

I've never made them. there are several books on the subject: try the library. One of the 'right on' shops near us runs a 1/2 day class for people with more money than sense.

One note of caution. Some of the oils, etc. that go into such things are pretty strong. You really ought to check if the mums have sensitive skin and goD knows what would happen to a child with a sensitivity to them.

Just because they're 'natural' products doesn't mean they cannot be harmful. I get a really bad reaction from geranium oil/petals, etc.
