Do I need to continually renew my crb?

I have one from 6.5yrs ago and have tried to find out in the past if it runs out but never got an answer from anywhere

    Thanks in advance

Generally the answer is no. But there is a but now. With my local authority it is a condition of providing any firm of funded childcare places if be it social services placement, children centre link schemes, 2,3 or 4 year old funded places then yes I have to renew every three years anyone over 16 who lives in my home including hubby and children.

If you get the new DBS check you can pay £13 a year to refresh it x
