I have an enhanced crb. Do I need to renew it. It's been three years since having it done. If so how do I go about doing so. Also someone on my first aid course told me I needed to inform them of my new address or it is invalid is this true

    Thanks

No you do it yourself now. I know there is a website which you now apply through and then when it comes back you can then opt yo pay the yearly fee so it is always up to date. As well as 3 and 4 year old funded children which the LA can no longer stipulate that we have up to date crb with the 2 year old funded children they can still request this which mine does.

It depends on your local authority rules. I only have to because I care for 2 year old local authority funded children and this is their rule. The rule only applies to the two year old children and not the three and four year old children.

I asked this question a while ago and didn't really get an answer, so will watch with interest.
I've been registered since 1985 and was CRB'd a looooooong time ago.
My daughter was CRB'd nearly 10 years ago when she was 16, still lives at home, but at no point has anyone told me they need re-doing for any of us on a regular basis.
