    Default Cat / Fox Wee?

My lounge today really smells like cat wee. We haven't had a cat for 6 years and none of the neighbours cats come anywhere near our house. Garden, yes, but not the house.

Anyway can't think where it has come from?

The children were playing in the wet garden yesterday. I'm wondering if they got cat or even fox wee on them and bought it in the house. If so, how do I get rid of the smell? :-(

Have you checked behind sofa that someone hasn't left a wet or sweaty trainer behind it - that can smell just like cat wee!

If it is cat wee brought in on shoes you could try spraying whole carpet with Febreeze and having windows open as much as possible but it's going to be hard to pin point where the smell is exactly.

Sprinkle bi-carb over the smelly bit.
Use a soft sweeping brush to brush it in if you have a deep pile carpet.
Leave overnight, then hoover it up. The smell should be gone.

    Also works on vomit smells.
