Anyone with experinece of Hip Dysplasia

Hi,

I know it is a long shot but I wondered if anyone else had experience of having a little one in their care with hip dysplasia. Mum only found out last week and she is going to have to have an op and be in plaster for some considerable time.

My mate kids had this was in a hip cast

Lo I look after had this when tiny, she was in a brace rather than a plaster, trying to stop her weight bearing was the hardest thing, she just got on with the whole thing, it was normal as far as she was concerned.
