    Hi all


    It's my first day chad minding on Tuesday and I'm getting a little nervous

    Ah don't be you'll be fine, just take things slowly, have fun and get to know your mindees- don't try and do too much just observe and follow their interests.........and most importantly, enjoy! xxx

    It's going to be alright. I was so nervous before my first children I wasn't sleeping. Make sure that you have a copy of the child's routine from the parent and a selection if their favourite meals that is very reassuring. Do your risk assessments and have some nice activities set out that you know the child will like. Then just try to relax and it will get better. You are nervous because you care that's really nice. Good luck and please say how it went. X
