    Default Help!!

Ive been asked to do some private nanny work for a set of twins for an hour after school 4 days a week.

Im still waiting to be ofsted registered as a childminder however, i already have a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education so can work as a nanny.

But how do i go about contracts ect? Ive never been employed on this basis before so unsure how it works.

Any advise would be appreciated! :-)
    Thanks xx

If you are a nanny you are employed by the family so they need to deal with your tax and NI

Well I guess they will still have to provide a contract?

Yeah I'm under that impression to.

I spoke to my friend who has just started nannying again and she rang our LA and they her another number to call and sent some paper work out for her employers with details of pay and payment dates on so may enquire there.

Its only a temp thing while I'm waiting for ofsted to register me then ill be caring for them within my home.

Thanks for your help :-) x

Contact BAPN the nanny organisation. They will advise you on what to do.

or contact Pacey as they have a nanny package and might be able to work this in alongside your childminding cover and contracts
