Default Thanks for the idea Murphf :)

I saw the link the other day about the chalkboard. I ordered one from Amazon and it came today

Looks really good on my wall and a spare bit that I have left has gone into the play kitchen so the little ones can write shopping lists etc.

Looks fab! I have often wondered if painting a wall with blackboard paint encourages children to draw on other walls though? What's your opinion? As I would love to do this, but having recently decorated our living room, don't think my fella would be impressed!!! Xxx

We painted the blackboard paint on the wall then put a frame round it so its a distinct space. I've never had anyone chalk on the wall. *touches wood!!

It's not paint. It just sticks on, can get them from Amazon - I've just ordered one this morning

Its just a big sticker that sticks on...really good.

I have sat my little ones down and had a big chat about only being allowed to draw on here with chalks, not to draw on any other walls either at here or at home and the importance of not using pens etc. They were all wide eyed and listened well so here's hoping I don't get told off by parents when one of them draws on walls at home......

A friend of mine has 2 children who seem to love drawing on walls, furniture, TV screens and laptops. Although they do need to learn that drawing on these things is not right. They didn't do it until she noticed that they had a chalk board on the wall at pre-school
