Default How drains and pipes work??

    Hi there

Please can anyone recommend any good resources (preferably video) about how drains and pipes work?

I have a very interested 3 year old who asks questions every time we use the loo or sink so I'd love to be able to show him a video!

    Thanks

Thanks! They all seemed to be American on youtube and also more aimed at adults.

I've just found a fantastic one on Wessex Water's website which is aimed at children and very interactive

Contact the water board and ask if you can visit a sewage works, the lads I looked after loved it, they had a huge fascination with all types of drains.

Don't know if it is on utube but there is a fantastic episode of "Come Outside" with Auntie Mabel & Pippin where they look at toilets, drains and visit a sewerage plant - my daughter even watched it at school in Science when she was about 10, so the school obviously thought it was useful too.

Found link - try this Come Outside - Sewage - YouTube
