I have a friend who is coming to work with me from September as a childminder (going into partnership) but I have a parent who wants a place from 15th August. I have 3 under 5s so this would take me to 4 under 5s 3 days a week until September when she starts. I have spoken to the parent and they cant delay the start date until then and my friend cannot start any sooner as she wont be here.

cant you have holiday from the other children to cover the interim period ? a week from each may cover it ?
