I have had time to read this consultation now and it is about removing a certain amount of regulation such as risk assessment, increase unregistered care from 2 to 3 hrs...there are many questions pertinent to cms and schools opening after school care and holidayclubs

    https://www.education.gov.uk/consultations/index.cfm

I know we are saturated with consultations and the govt does not listen anyway but as very few people bother to respond the govt goes ahead ...maybe they think we are not interested?

please make the time to have your say...remember that only 328 providers responded to the CCommission, that is very poor engagement !

I am surprised that this consultation is NOT receiving many comments from cms on this forum....does it mean you agree with 'deregulation'?

unless I am seeing too much into the questions I would like you to read them and comment....
look at 4b in particular...how do you read it? and 6,7,8 and 9???

Take 2 minutes to look at this consultation..should it not be titled 'Deregulation of childcare'?

having given the impression she wanted to solve the cost of childcare Truss is now showing her hand and what she wanted to do in the first place!
