Default HELP! When should I get my registration certificate

A few weeks ago I spoke to Ofsted who said once they get my pre-reg visit report back I should get my certificate within a couple of days. I had my pre reg last week so phoned Ofsted today to see if they had had the report back, which they have and all the other checks and then told me that I should get my certificate in the next 12 weeks! Why does it take 12 weeks to print a certificate? How quick did you get your registration certificates

12 weeks!!!! I've never heard of it taking that long for the certificate once everything is done!!

The normal is a week or two, I received mine after about a week and a half, I would ring back and speak to somebody else

I thought 12 weeks was the timeframe ofsted had to come out and do pre-reg inspection? Seems a bit extreme just for a certificate!
