Quick answers needed please about cost of this course

I've just applied for a place on a course to do my level 3 Children and young persons workforce diploma on the basis of a 50% bursary from our LA. I've been quoted £1440.

Does that sound like the whole amount or just my 50%?

That sounds like you will be paying the £1000 as in sure the course is approximately £2000

It's an online course so any chance that its £500 cheaper, otherwise this is a £3000 course.

Go back and ask them the question there is no point fretting when you don't know one way or the other. It could be the full amount if the LA are paying the bursary direct to you, it all depends on how it works.

I think that must be the total price. The cost of an on line course that I have found is around £1500, some a little cheaper

Thank you all. I've just received the info in the post (she only posted after the phone call yesterday) and it is the total price. It's not through the LA but they will fund 60% and student finance fir the other 40%.
