Default Settling in sessions ansd ratios

I've got two girls starting with me in Sept when they start school. The parents want to send them for a couple of full day settling in sessions the week before school starts. This would be fine on one of the days but it would take me over my numbers by 1 on 1 day. How do ratios work for settling in sessions?

Ratios are the same even in settling in sessions. You wouldn't be able to go over your numbers. Could the child come another day or in the evening?

I've always believed that you still have to stick to your ratios during settling-in sessions.

exactly the same - you would have to get the parent to stay or just offer the one day settling in where you wouldn't be over the numbers
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door

Have you got any mindees on holiday in August or any early finishes when you could slot the girls in - if they are going to school in Sept anyway why do the parents want them to come for whole days? Could they not come separately?

I agree you cannot go over your numbers - you will have to rearrange dates so that you are within your numbers.
