    Default learning to write

Whilst my little ones are napping, does anyone know where I can print some the paper that helps children learn to write?

I've seen some somewhere where you can type your own traceable words but can't for the life of me find it now...typical!

I want to be able to laminate them to use then as wipe clean learning cards

    Thanks

At the conference I went to we were told not to teach them to write. Even at 5 they do not have the physical dexterity to write. She said it was better to give them the skills that help them learn to write. Throwing and catching balls. Painting and encouraging fine motor skills.

Its not for the little children, its for the ones who are doing the same at nursery at the moment, so I am just working alongside them as thd children are interested in doing it

    That website looks good thanks

I think all kids are different.
My little one who was just 5 when she started school was writing sentences neatly and had been for a year or so, along with a few others from her nursery. She loves it and was very pleased with herself that she could do it. She's now halfway through reception and doing year one work.
My eldest hated writing and didn't get the hang of it til she was about 6!

My ds is the same with reading he was readying roald dahl by 4 1/2 and is now doing year 2 spellings while in year 1. I think we just need to help them with their individual interests and try to gently encourage other things to help them in the long run.

I assume that's unless they are showing an interest?
