Default question about safeguarding policy please

Ime just going through my policy and paperwork to make sure that its up to date.

Can somebody tell me please do we have to have a copy of "working together to safeguard children" or is it ok to have it stored on the Pc. Its about 300pages long.

Also I am using the policy written by the NCMA and it has on there "I have copies of the local Safeguarding children board procedures" but ive just looked on their website and you cant print this off.

    Advice please thankyou xx

The 'Working Together' document is being reviewed - and is under consultation - so just be aware of it in your procedures and know where you can find it if needed.

It's more important that you have attended local training to ensure you know what your LA expect you to do if there is a concern or allegation.
