    Default Tuff spot ideas

    We have the tuff spot out this afternoon witH rice and spoons and tubs. The 2 los are loving it. What does everyone else put in theirs for clean messy play?! We currently have ours on the floor so baby mindee (who's not here today) can join in x

    A builders tray. Basically a big tray where the sides come up if that makes sense??

    clean ( dry) heuristic play -
    weetabix xrushed , rice krispies , any cereal!
    Pasta ( usually dry but cooked works well too , especially when coloured - mine love coloured spaghetti)
    dried lentils / peasd / beans etc
    rice
    sand
    birdfood
    leaves
    flower petals
    tinsel/baubles etc
    sequins / beads
    waterbeads ( the ones used for flower arrangements etc)

    wet heuristic play

    beans
    shaving foam
    mud
    gloop
    gellibath
    bubblebath
    snow
    icecubes
    ricepudding

    I was in home bargains last week and bought a lovely plastic boot tidy tray. Will be great for messy play.

    I use a tray that you stand Grow bags in, the children use it for lots of activities
