    Default Please Help!!!

Hello, i am PepsiJemima and i am new to this so bear with me
I am currently doing an Open college course called 'Childcare Home Practitioner's Level 3'
I am a qualified nurse who wants to be a health visitor and this was the most relevant course to take whilst applying for health visiting.
I am on the second to last module and have flown through the other modules, but i am stumped by a particular question which is:
'Summerise the Childminder's responsibilities when building positive relationships with parents and professionals in relation to a) Confidentiality b) complaints procedures and documentation.'

    Please can anyone help me?
All i have so far is that childminder's need to maintain confidentiality and inform parents of their intent to maintain positive relationships????
(Bearing in mind that a previous assignment has been about the importance of maintaining confidentiality - so don't want to repeat all that)
As the title says, PLEASE HELP!!
    Thank you

The Eyfs 2012 is our bible when it comes to working with parents and carers.

if you browse through it looking for the word 'parent' and / or 'confidentiality' you can pull out all the different references.

It's on the forum here - EYFS Statutory Framework

It is a requirement of the Childcare Register to have a written complaints policy and procedures and to give it to parents.

You will find info about the Childcare Register here -

guide to registration on the childcare register
