    Default Conversions and minding

I am getting my pre reg inspection next Monday but we are also due to start a garage conversion in the next 2-3 weeks hopefully. We are getting it converted into a utility/pet room and will involve having doors knocked into the front and back halls.

Where do I stand with this and minding? Obviously I don't know how long my certificate will take to come through or how long it will take me to get mindees. The conversion should only take 2-3 weeks so may all be a distant memory by the time I have mindees but I'd like to plan ahead just in case.

I should probably mention I'm in Scotland but any help would be fab

Just let the inspector know that this is what you're planning to do. Explain that if you have a mindee start before the work is finished that you will fully risk assess and manage the situation approriatly. The chances are that the work will be completed before you start childminding.
