Any advice please on assistants and what a childminder must pay for I.e crb first aid ? How much you pay an assistant an hour ? If they are self employed and use their car can they claim tax back or do you claim it back how do you pay an assistant do you us wage slips sorry all so fast got to write and run

CRB checks are paid for by Ofsted.

Assistants must have first aid if they are left alone with children.

You need to agree an amount to pay - and remember if you want to go over 6 under 8 you will probably need planning permission first.
