Dear X ,

As per our earlier conversation I would like to confirm that I am expecting a baby on X 2013.

I will be taking a few weeks off for Maternity Leave; my last day of work will be Monday X April 2013 and will be returning to work on Monday 2nd September 2013.

I have really loved having X, she is such a delightful little girl and is in a way part of the family. I would love for X to return in September 2013 but I understand that this may not be possible.

If this is something you would be interested in then please let me know.
