snacks for school

What smacks do your kids take to school, especially teenagers, I need some ideas on what healthy snacks I can send them with, they have school dinners but need somthing mid morning and apparently its not cool to be seen eating fruit in high school!

cheese and crackers, olives, nuts (if allowed), fruit salad in a pot??

Flavoured raisins, wholemeal muffins, homemade flapjacks?

Mine go to the canteen for a bacon butty!

All through nursery, infant and junior school they have it drummed into them about healthy eating, then they get to senior school and they're offered bacon butties or pizza at morning break

When they do take something they tend to have a little pot of dry cereal (something like Cheerios or Shreddies), a sandwich, a small pot of pasta, dried fruit or flapjack.
