Default PPP - Penny Pinching Parents

A childminder friend of mine made me laugh last week as she told me one of her parents had complained at the number of wipes that the childminder was getting through (parent supplies nappys and wipes) Parent told her she must only use 1 wipe per nappy change.

Mum then proceeded to tell her how long a packet of 84 wipes will last working on 4 nappy changes a day

    I was hysterical with laughter

Have you come across anything similar?

One per nappy. I think my record was 11 per nappy once.

i once tried to put my rate up-this was years ago when i was still scared of parents ..i mentioned how much j was eating etc trying to justify it and mum says oh if thats the reason ill bring a pack of oven chips and a pack of fish fingers a week .. i said how can i give the same meal each day,(i wont even buy oven chips ) i got the rise in the end think she realised what a ridiculous idea it was. the thing is this family was extremely well off, i find the more they have the more stingy they are !!

Apart from the one that took 25 p off my bill recently (my mistake ) my lot at the moment are quite good.

One wipe per nappy though! How ridiculous

perhaps we should have a poo chart

    1 wipe for runny poo

    2 wipes for sticky poo

    3 wipes for thick poo

4 wipes for poo with bits in

    5 wipes for green poo

Some people should get a life. I think i would have put the dirty wipes from each nappy into a nappy sack and sent them home. Just so the parent could check and see if i had used too many.

That is a brilliant idea - all we need now is to add some pictures so the poster is accessible to all who want to read it!!

I have to use the Bristol Stool Scale for my son's bowel condition. I get a few strange looks when I pull out pictures of poo from my handbag insead of my mobile phone

My mindee's parents are ALWAYS putting me on nappy rations. Quite a few times I've had only 2 nappies for a 10 hour day but I've never looked into mathematical equations for wipes though

Tell me about it, I'm sure for some its about money and for others its because they are control freaks who want to have it all their own way.

But don't you find some parents will say something like that but have a million pairs of expensive shoes? And I bet they don't ration their own toilet paper usage either......
