Unhappy Where do i start now? #help#

    Hi

I have today received my registration and have no idea what to do next. Before i advertise i want to know what i'm actually doing paper work wise. I want to get organised....... What do i include in the packs i issue to parents and what do they need to see from my file when they come and visit.

I'd like to see an example pack if anybody knows where i can have a look at one

    Idiots guide please

Bromley childminding site has some policies you can look at for ideas and then adapt to suit your way of doing things.

I'd get advertising as it can take a while. Go and meet some childminders, do you have a group or ask the d/o if your details can be passed onto a minder. Most minders will happily show you the sort of things to put in your pack. Offer to cover sickness and holidays whilst you get established. The minders here all help each other, it can be very lonely profession otherwise.
