CRB Runaround

hi, I need to get an CRB check done for someone. Have been on numerous searches etc however I cannot seem to find the actual CRB form to download. All I have had are guidance, checklists etc.....can anyone help please?

Ofsted did mine for me although it was quite a long time ago perhaps they could point you in the right direction

I was under the impression that individuals cannot apply, that it has to be done by the organisation requiring the CRB check to be carried out (i.e. a school for parent helpers, a scout group for leaders etc., Ofsted if it is to register a CM assistant). If that is the case you wouldn't be able to download a form for use as an individual.

You need to speak to Ofsted

CRBs have to be submitted by a registered organisation.

For us and our family and any assistants this is Ofsted. You need to ring them.

If it is for your own child who is nearly 16 they will send the forms when they turn 16. They don't send them in advance so the CRB is done by they time the child is 16.
