I do a long one every 2-3 weeks and wow 2 a week for full timers

I do about one per week per Eyfs child plus a longer one when needed if I want to focus on something in more depth

Do you mean planned obs as in covering next steps made from previous obs?

Sometimes I seem to do lots in one week then none for ages. But then I struggle with turning obs into planning and back into obs. Everytime I set something up to observe they end up doing something completely different.
