Need children weighing scales as ofsted picked me up on last inspection not having anything so children can see what is lighter and sink or float and sink any ideas

I've got some proper scales tucked away somewhere but for the tots I made some using butter/marg tubs (got them to decorate them then covered both with pva glue) tied a long shoelace onto each one and then hung them from a hanger. You just need to make sure you use matching tubs and laces-serves its purpose fine for tots as they need a visual set of scales rather than ones with numbers on x

It would be nice to find a mechanical set that had big boxes on each size so they could weigh items against each other (six play figures equals one sofy teddy) I love the hanger home made idea but would like something sturdier. I know kids would love it and would be happy to pay for it.
Any ideas?
