    Default urgent advice please - chickenpox

    Can someone please confirm this to me as parent wants to know if I can accept child.

    Child is school age (only comes in hols and today is last day for 2 weeks)
    Has older sibling who I dont have

    Older sibling has chickenpox

    Do I accept the school age child I normally have as normal?

    She is showing no signs of chickenpox and hasnt had it

    I have under 5s today who also have not had it....

    Help please ... its early and my brain is mush

    if your mindee is exhibiting no signs of CP then yes you can accept
    you shouldn't exclude on the basis sibling has illnees

    however I would keep a close eye

    If she hasn't got chicken pox then you have no reason to exclude hun x

    Hello, I would say it is fine to accept this child as she has no signs I don't really think you can turn her away. When my DD's had chicken pox one had it first and the other showed no signs then two weeks later the other one started best to get t out the way. Hope this helps

    Thanks... thats what I thought... have told the parent I can accept but its up to her if she wants to bring or not... still waiting for parent to decide....
