Default First aid course - Peacehaven nr Brighton

    Hiya

Due to nothing being avalible ive decided to try and organise a first aid course in peachaven near Brighton. I need 12 people and so far have 5. It's a 6 hr practical course and 6 hour online course. The cost is £37pp (they are looking into being able to accept the first aid vouchers childminders can get)

If this would be of use to u or anyone you know email me at wildmonkeys@sky.com

    Thanks

    Val

I might be wrong but I was under the impression that the first aid had to be a 12 hour practical.

Of course ignore me if I have my wires crossed

Apparently this is acceptable too. I'd never heard of doing it this way until I started looking into it

I did mine this way too, the six hours online are done first and consist of online videos and a first aid book which mirrors the videos, then quizzes at the end. The videos are in sections of about 45 mins or so but can be further broken down into little sections of three or four mins, so it was good to do a little if I had a spare 15 mins.

The practical session could only be done once the online session had been passed.

I found it better than doing the conventional 12 hour practical sessions, more seemed to sink in somehow. It was also cheaper, and I only lost one Saturday to it
