I have a 2 yr old the same. As soon as anything is put in front of her (lunch / dinner) she will either say "I don't want that" or she will say after about a minute "I've finished now". I just tell her OK, well just sit at the table until everyone else has finished then". I turn around again a few minutes later and she is happily tucking in . Happens every day I have her.
