Default Settling on being right handed or left handed

My mindee is 3 and still uses both hands to draw, neither one is more or less than the other, he literally holds a crayon in either hand and uses them alternately. I have just done a ob on him as he is beginning to enjoy doing tracing lines.

When do children typically choose a hand, my eldest was the same as mindee but not being a CM at the time I never really paid too much attention and my youngest is right handed and has always used his right hand more than his left. Just wanting to get an idea for future obs and activities and such.

My son age 6 has only just settled on his right hand after writing with his left since he was a toddler.

I just make sure I have plenty of right and left handed resources at home for all the children and then they can choose in their own time.
