also I go to pick up at 3.15 should i charge how longit takes me to walk there lol

have you already signed a contract? I charge from 3 for school pick ups as that's when I leave the house (well actually I leave at 2.50 but hey!).

I would have charged from when you leave but if you've signed you can't really backtrack.

With the Dad, is he wanted a shorter session, ending before 5.30 but you want a min. session time to 5.30? If so, I'd stick to your guns, it's not worth the bother for less than 2 hours really. I only do this for 2 after schoolers and only because they are siblings of one of my full-timers.

My before and after school are charged as sessions, so £5 for 7.30-9am and £10 for 3-6pm. I don't charge for time to pick up because I live next door to the school so would feel a bit daft!

you should only charge for the time to get to the school if you don't have children of your own going there. if you do, then you would be going anyway, so it's not fair to charge for this time.

Have you signed contracts yet? If so it is too late to change your fees, maybe you can review them after six months. If you haven't signed contracts then it might be possible to up the fees but then again if you have verbally agreed a fee it might not be easy to increase them.
