i know we really shouldn't but i suppose it wouldnt be natural if we didn't!
but do you like some mindees better than others?

ive got one who is the sweetest child ever! was my screamer and screamed for 8 hours a day for the first 3months, but then turned a corner and now i could just eat her on a butty! lol.

    could eat all mine!

i am very lucky as my LOs are lovely. They are always hugging and loving me...we sit on the sofa and i dont have enough knees to go round. LO aged three tells me she loves me every day.

Schoolies are great too....i had just one today and we made hot choc and i had got him a cookie from the bakers. apparently i am "the best ever"

My ds (11) always asks me this, I say I don't have favourites but I do was another lo who screamed all the time couldn't put her down for a sec now she is the sweetest little girl ever and has just started walking and even claps when she takes a step with a huge cheeky grin as if to say look at me I'm great

Think it is probably because I put so much time effort sweat &tears to get her settled that prob the reason, saying that I also have a little boy who is so cute & super smart he is defo a close favourite also

i love them all loads but favour different ones at different times of the week or day

one of the 3 yr olds has recently started nursery and is having a very tough time of it and is exhausted she takes it out on me, smacking me around the face and grunting at me and being generally vile, i had thought about giving notice but there's no way i could bear to watch another minder taking her to school and i just adore her. it will pass.

the 2 yr old whose birth i was at is my current fave, he is so cheeky and bouncy and i just adore how he changes every day, his sister is finding being a big sister tough but i do really love her too just differently at the moment

Yes this is me, all of a sudden one will do or say something and you think Oh bless, or they make you laugh so much that tears come to your eyes.

I do a bit. I have one after schooler who started with me when she was 6 months. She is now 9 and so like me it's uncanny.
ie; She's quite bossy and likes to organise things/people

Spookily I drew a design for a piece of embroidery I wanted to do and she came to me a few days later ( having not seen her for a while ) with a picture she had drawn that was almost identical to my design !

My fav is definitely my baby, she's such a sweet little thing and so good natured. I do have a soft spot for my 3y old and my 9y before/after schooler but they being older have their little moments lol

You always have favourites it's natural, I once got told whilst working at nursery not to get attatched!! how can you not when your their main carer 8-6, five days a week.
All the children I have cared for over the past 9 years have all been part of my life, there are some children I'd like to forget but some who I loved to bits.
Working from home and having children in your home seems different and my feelings change weekly.
Each child is so different and provides a different character every day thats why I love this job no two days are the same.

i love all my mindees but 2 a little bit more

my 4 yr old mindee who i've had for 18 months now, he's super cute and everyone falls in love him (even parents who come to visit me will comment on how cute he is!!) he has such a nice nature, very caring and very funny!

my almost 2 yr old mindee, she was such hard work (as was mum) when she first started that i gave notice but mum begged me to change my mind, i'm SO glad that i did as i now get along fantastically well with mum and little one has settled in so well and is a total joy to be around

Love all my Los, but one reminds me of my own DSs at that age so I have a soft spot for him.

Luckily I don't have any that I absolutely dread coming round!!!! I have two favourites I suppose and for completely different reasons!

I only have an 8 year old son, so was wondering what it would have been like to have a girl, but the girl mindees I have can be so 'catty' and nasty sometimes and then I thought of 'C' who is just lovely and not got a bad bone in her body, would never be nasty or spiteful to anyone and I thought, mmm, if I had a daughter I would want THAT one!!!

The other one is one of the girls I caught stealing! And not the remorseful one either!! I don't know what it is about her, but it's almost like she's my own child, no matter how bad she is, I can never give up on her! She can be nasty and a right handful at times, but she is also really funny, has a massive personality and life is far from boring when she is here!

my favorite is my old screamer, probably as said before because we worked so hard to have her to settle and now looking at laughing, talking....being independant fills me with proud everytime LOL she's mine! ah ah aha h
dad was made redundant and i went to pick her up to take her toddler group with us for free so she would still socialise and i'd get my ratio of cuddles!!!!!

dad has a new job so she'll be back on monday

my new screamer has the cheesiest grin ever, when he laugh you just want to squeeze him!!! but when he starts screaming.......my notice is half typed on computer LOL but he always finish the day by 1h of smile and giggles !!!! cunning so you fall in love wih him all over again LOL
