    Default Magnet board

If you have an old piece of wood with smooth edges (and you haven't turned it into a chalk board like my previous thread suggested lol) you could paint it with magnetic paint ! (yes it really existes in B&Q ) . Useful for indoors and out ! Not tried this yet so not certain how stron the magnetic hold would be.
You could then print and laminate any number of things to play with on it .

What a good idea! A bit like a felt board but magnetic! I might have a play, I am looking for outside ideas at the moment.

    Thank you!

Another good idea - thanks for that. We could paint one side with magnetic and the other with backboard paint.

I too would like good weather this weekend as hubby needs to get on with the decking. Most of all though I am hoping that he remembers it's my birthday. I would settle for the decking to be finished thought.

That's a really good idea, I have a magnetic musical easel for indoors but this was be great for the garden and as mentioned laminate anything and stick little magnets on them and we could create massive scenes, let our imaginations run wild!!!!
I will have to be nice to hubby so he will do this for me!!

Thanks for letting us know - I think putting a magnetic board in the garden is a fab idea but I shall invest in a ready made one instead of trying the paint. Hubbie is gonna hate me - all these new jobs to add to an already very long list. (ha ha, it's about time he did something useful - he says I only love him when he's doing diy).
