Default summative assessment in the LJ?

Would you put this in the LJ? Feels very academic / technical to do so...maybe in the back?
    If not then where?

Got a lo starting preschool soon and would like tO do one of these for the teacher, could anyone help me out with an example, I know it won't be relevant to my lo, but I find it helps me get my head into gear if I read one first, thanks

I stick an a4 envelope and put all 'official' stuff in there as it's not really much interest to the child

I put it in the LJ in date order too. I don't make it official though... it's just a summary of the child's wonderful achievements and ideas for next steps.

The children usually choose and colour in the little pictures I add and I ask parents for comments.

My LJ is split into sections: main bit with photos, obs, wow cards etc; creative bit with examples of their pictures or photos of models or dancing; official bit - summative assessment, next steps, tracker thingy, copies of shared info from other settings and ind planning sheets. All kept in an A4 ring binder

I find that when parents look at it they spend ages looking at the photos and get to the back section and quickly flick through
