    Question Asthma

One of my mindees has just been diagnosed with asthma and has to have an inhaler 4 times a day, do I have to get written consent each and every time she has it and then have to get a signature to say I have administered it?

    Default Re: Asthma

When an ex mindee needed his inhaler - not every day while with me - I asked mum to write in daily diary when he last had and how many puffs then write what time his doses needed to be. I signed the diary and also put it in my medicine book to be signed for on collection.

Usual permissions to administer when needed (and also that they had shown me how to give it with the spacer and were happy that I was able to give correctly) were already on file but I wanted each dose accounted for.
Happy to be back with the Greenies
