Def copy!! I just made it from bits in the garden a button and some wire!! Look on Pinterest for ideas!! I'm going to make little milk bottles, post and bits that I'll change regularly to add to the magic!

You made it? That's even more impressive! How did you attach it to the tree? I bought an indoor one a few weeks ago but haven't shown hubby yet as have been on a bit of a spending spree and have to just show him one new thing every few days, lol. I think he might frown at me attaching it to the skirting boards too.

Those are lovely - very impressed you made them. Don't think anything I made would turn out like that

We have just created a fairy garden, my Dh has made furniture which we have put out but so far no fairies have taken up our offer of a good place to sit.... My oldest son, ( now28) has written a book about their visit to our garden..outlining what they like...notes have passed, I think this week they may appear!!!
We are so absorbed in this imaginary world, my eldest lives 270 miles away in Brighton and is awaiting response to their cup and saucer on table appearance this week!! ( he works for a children's publishing company..so loves writing stories...one day he may be famous!) your Fairy doors are lovely, my DH is enchanted and so use your design if that is ok ....

We have something similar in our Botanic gardens here, we often spend long afternoons in the fairy wood and what's great is the fairies are in different places every time we go so kids are just taken with the magic of it all. I love it too!

We then come home and the kids spend hours drawing pictures of the fairies!

I went to Somerset Childminding conference and did a workshop on Outdoor play - the tutor had us looking round outside for Rapunzels hair, a dragons lair, a fairy tea cup, a fairy's dress and lots of other things which I now can't remember due to stopping off for a meal and LOTS of wine on the way home! I came away from the conference deciding I need to be less factual on my nature walks and out in the garden with the children, instead to set our imagination free.
