I would do it as a risk assessment rather than a policy...

Hazard - children taking photos of minded children

Risk - confidentiality broken, safeguarding issue if phone is lost or stolen

Control - children told not to take photos etc

i have a policy in place as we were sent guidance about childcare workers being recommended NOT to have mobile phones on their person whilst working (in the light of abuse cases in nurseries and photos being taken).

So my policy basically justifies why I need to carry a phone with me and what I will and will not use it for to satisfy parents and others that I won't be taking photos on my phone, that my children won't and that calls made during minding will be necessary ones and to be in contact with parents, for emergencies etc, etc.

    hope that helps.
