    Default some parents!

i sent LO home yesterday as not well.

mum rang last night to ask if i could have LO today - i said, yes, IF LO is up to being out and about, if LO not up to a normal day then no. mum said its, just a cold. i said i could cope with a cold and snot etc, but a LO who only wanted to cuddle, wasn't eating, didn't want to do anything and was miserable would get nothing out of our day, and it wasn't fair to spoil all the other childrens fun by having to stay home.

mum took LO to dr today - LO on antibiotics !!! got an infection.

i'm sure some parents think we make things up ! i'm sad that LO is ill, but also pleased as maybe mum might start to listen!

I have one parent like that, send the children no matter how ill they seem to be, but have time off work themselves if they don't feel up to it. I think it seems sometimes to be oh she is only the paid (grudgingly) help so she can deal with things.
