Default Have sorted my yearly planning but is it just for those in early years?

    Hi,
I have sorted out my planning in monthly stages for this year - i have a sheet for each child in the early years split into the six areas so i can show how i am covering each area, i have only done this for the 2 i have in the early years is this right? or do i also include the 6yr old i mind aswell?
also, is this all i need for the planning? it seems a bit too straight forward?
also, sorry, with the learning journals do they run along the same theme as the monthly / yearly planning? thanks in advance

There are 2 types of planning... individual and group.

You can do group planning for as many children as you want - Eyfs and older... but it's best for children over 3 as little ones tend to be too young to get the best out of it (though if they want to join in that's fine).

Individual planning links to ... children's interests and your group planning.

So child A likes playdough... you plan to make some and model whatever.

Your group planning says you will be looking at Valentine's Day ... you plan with child A to make pink playdough.

Does that make sense? Is it what you are thinking?

Sorry but it sounds like you're making things too complicated.
