    Default Assistant Queries

I am thinking about taking on an assistant andhave looked through the forum at the many different threads and options. I am thinking that I would encourage her to register as self employed and work regular hours and days that may vary as my bookings change. The lady I have in mind has her own child and so will take up one of my additional spaces gained by having an assistant, should her child be booked in to the service? I think she can get child care tax credits if she informs the tax credit office that she is working and thisa would contribute to her wages when she is with me, and then there would be the other child I am planning to take on as well. Could this work?
