ikea highchairs recall

i have 2 ikea high chairs and tbh this made me laugh. they are fab BUT the straps are useless, i dont bother using them as all my kids can escape the stupid lapbelt. i just stay with them whilst they are in them. which you should do anyway.

Mine is 2004 so will call tomorrow and see what they say. The straps are useless and dd just pulls it open once she's had enough of it!

just phoned customer services and they were fab...I had 2 of the affected chairs and my DIL had 2 that had a different serial number...Ikea said for everyones peace of mind they were replacing straps for anyone that wanted them regardlless of the serial numbers...4 sets in the post to arrive tomorrow...well done Ikea x
