New SEF - Ofsted say NOT SHORTER!!!

I have been on the phone to Ofsted this morning and whilst I was on thought I would ask about the new SEF form and whether I should start the old one or wait. The man I spoke to told me that the new version is virtually the same as the old one and that although people seem to think it is going to be shorter, that is actually not the case!! GREAT!

They are still taking the old version until further notice I believe (new one isn't published yet I don't think).

Just received some paperwork from ofsted in the post regarding changes to early years inspections and the sef. It says the sef 'is shorter and easier to use'

There is a line of links... it's in the middle (ish) with the title FREE resources

I have the letter re changes and it says 'We are also changing the Early years SEF and its accompanying guidance. You will notice the new form is shorter and easier to use when you next decide to review your practice. You will not be penalised in anyway if you have not used the revised form ahead of your inspection' There's a lot of other gumph too but that the crux of it.

Hi cant seem to access this from free downloads when i click on it says site has moved and am being re directed then it just comes up with the childminder folder with the tabs nothing else! Anyone else find this?

It's coming up for me ok.

Log out of the site... clear your cookies... log back in and try again.

I use www.ccleaner.com to keep my cookies nice and tidy.
